Welcome to Port Sunlight

The historic village of Port Sunlight is a purpose-built model village created at the end of the 19th Century.

Originally created by Lord Lever for workers at his soap factory, the village features wide boulevards lined with historic cottages, pristine lawns and attractions.

Alongside the village’s bowling green you’ll find various visitor attractions including Bridge Cottage, Port Sunlight Museum & Workers Cottage and Lady Lever Art Gallery.

Lady Lever Art Gallery houses the personal art collection of Lord Lever, including the world’s finest collection of Wedgwood Jasperware.

The village has also provided the backdrop to various blockbuster films and TV shows, most famously the Peaky Blinders TV series.

Guided walking tours allow you to take in the history of the village while Port Sunlight Village Trust hosts a calendar of fun family events and activities throughout the year.

Nearest Merseyrail stations: Port Sunlight and Bebington.
