Wirral is Borough of Culture for the Liverpool City Region in 2024. It’s the second time that Wirral has held the title, following an incredible year of culture, creativity and ideas in 2019.
Our line-up of amazing events and activities will create unmissable experiences in some of our best-loved public spaces, alongside fantastic music, art, theatre and more in our cultural venues and communities.
We’ll be celebrating the borough’s past and looking ahead to its future. We’ll be honouring Wirral icons. We’ll be singing, dancing, playing, watching, listening, writing, painting, making, cheering, clapping, oohing and aahing - and we hope you will be too.
Our programme in 2024 gives us the chance to tell Wirral’s story - celebrating the people and places that make Wirral unique, where we’ve been and where we’re going.
