The 20th edition of the Independents Biennial
The Independents Biennial 2025 is an artist-led contemporary art festival taking place across the Liverpool City Region—including Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, Halton, Knowsley, and St Helens—from 7 June to 14 September 2025.
Celebrating its 20th year, the festival showcases over 200 artists and more than 250 new works, emphasising grassroots and emerging talent .
Here you will find out about what you can see in Wirral as part of the Indy Biennial. At Williamson Art Gallery, a sculpture inspired by the multicultural vibrancy of Oxton Road by artist Brigitte Jurack will be on display.
