The vibrant colours of the rainbow will once again shine brightly over the Victoria Quarter as Wirral Pride returns on Saturday 8th August to celebrate its 5th anniversary.

From 10:30 am to 6:00 pm, Victoria Road in New Brighton will transform into a hub of joy, acceptance and spectacular entertainment.

A Lineup to Remember

The main stage will feature an electrifying lineup of local and regional talent, guaranteeing an unforgettable day of music and performance.

Benjamin Gillham (2:10 pm):

Birkenhead’s own Benjamin Gillham will take to the stage. Benjamin captured the hearts of millions earlier this year when a video of his stunning impromptu karaoke rendition went viral, even catching the attention of TV talent show producers. Get ready to be blown away by his incredible voice.

Mandi Fisher Returns (5:15 pm):

The highly anticipated return of Mandi Fisher to the Wirral Pride stage. Prepare for a powerful and captivating performance from this beloved local artist.

More Fantastic Acts:

The day will also feature incredible performances by DJ Jules, the Liverpool Rainbow Chorus, Richard Sefton, Matthew Joseph, Electric Disco Thing featuring Jason Dignam, Patrick Saint James, and the Freedom Dance Studios.

Commitment to Accessibility

Wirral Pride is dedicated to ensuring that everyone can fully participate in the celebration. To that end, a BSL interpreter will be present on the main stage throughout the day, providing sign language interpretation for all performances and announcements. Additionally, the Pride Market & Services stalls will be open right from our 10:30 am start for those who prefer quieter browsing before the crowds arrive.

More Than Just a Stage

Beyond the incredible performances on the Main Stage, the festival offers something for everyone:

  • Pride Market & Services: Explore a diverse range of stalls offering unique goods and vital community services.
  • Food & Drink: Enjoy delicious offerings from various food and beverage vendors.
  • Dog Show: Bring your furry friends for a fun and fabulous dog show!
