Coast

Wirral Peninsula has two of Britain's most famous rivers, The Mersey and The Dee, sweeping along the Eastern and Western edges and to North the Irish Sea. On your visit Wirral you will find maritime heritage, classic seaside towns, sandy beaches and stunning views across the bays.

Wirral is also home to several protected coastland parks, preserving some of the finest coastal scenery in Britain. There is also an unusual array of wildlife, from migratory birds to colonies of grey seals at Hilbre.
