Three AA rosette restaurant The Lawns at Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa in Wirral, has been awarded the Highest Quality Assured VisitEngland Taste Accreditation assessed by Quality in Tourism.

The Lawns has already earned itself an enviable reputation as one of the region’s favourite fine dining restaurants and has recruited former Michelin-starred chef Matt Worswick to raise the creativity and quality of the food further.

Geoff Dale, General Manager of Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa, said: "We’ve identified 2015 as a year of real opportunity for The Lawns and the appointment of our new Executive Chef at the end of last year is part of our investment.

“Achieving VisitEngland Taste Accreditation is an important step on that journey and we were thrilled to learn the Lawns scored 94% achieving a Highest Quality Assured rating.”

“We have always been very focused on the whole guest experience, considering every aspect of the customer’s visit and this accreditation gives our guests the assurance they will have a memorable meal at the Lawns,” added Geoff.
