Port Sunlight Museum transformation

Due to refurbishment, Port Sunlight Museum and Gift Shop are closed for the month of January 2013. The newly transformed attraction will be re-opened to the public by early February 2013.
The Tea Room and toilet facilities remain open throughout the closure period and a range of Port Sunlight souvenirs is available to buy in the Tea Room, open daily 11am – 4pm.
The improvements to the museum & gift shop include:
· New multimedia tour of the village available to download as an App
· Improved signage & visitor welcome
· Extended interpretation on the Garden City Movement, the factory and Lever Bros Co and Labour history
· A special exhibition on Lady Lever herself, to commemorate the centenary of her death in 2013
The rest of the village is still fully operational including the Garden Centre, The Lady Lever Art Gallery, and all other Bistro’s, Café’s and Inn’s.
