TwoWirral restaurants are celebrating after being named among the top 150 restaurants in the UK by The Sunday Telegraph.
Da Piero in Irby and Fraiche in Oxton were both singled out for praise in the gourmet guide, published this week.
Both restaurants have consistently been listed in the Good Food and Michelin guides, with Marc Wilkinson’s Fraiche retaining a coveted Michelin star for the fourth year in a row – making it one of only a handful in the north west to do so.
Dawn Di Bella, who runs 27-seat restaurant Da Piero with her husband, Piero, and their son, Alan, said: “We were delighted to be nominated in Merseyside section.
“It was great to see that Fraiche in Oxton was also nominated – two Wirral restaurants that continue to be recognised nationally.
