15th October 2012

Categories: News

Fiona Bruce and the team visit Port Sunlight in Wirral for another busy day of valuations. For amongst the treasures under scrutiny include a portrait of Shakespeare discovered beneath another painting, a model of Buckingham Palace made from thousands of matchsticks, and one of the most exciting pieces of jewellery seen on the show.

Click here for Show 2, where among the items brought before the experts are a stash of rare and valuable advertising signs found on a tip, a religious painting with a tantalising question of fake or fortune, part of an Apollo spaceship given to a young boy in the 1960s, and one of the most exquisite pieces of oriental ceramics ever seen on the show. But it is a small piece of plastic that gets the best reaction.
