Even More of Wirral to Enjoy
The latest changes to Covid-19 restrictions have brought some welcome changes to socialising as it’s now possible to head indoors to spend time with family and friends. Businesses across Wirral are opening up their indoor spaces, from fantastic bars and restaurants to amazing attractions. And with Wirral’s beautiful parks, countryside and coast, don’t forget about outdoor adventures too!
We recommend checking the websites and social media of any venues you are planning to visit, to avoid disappointment.
Pubs, bars and restaurants
You’ll no longer have to take a gamble on the British weather to enjoy food and drink with people outside your household or support bubble, as pubs, bars and restaurants across the borough reopen their indoor seating areas. As before, you don’t need to order a substantial meal with drinks and curfews remain off the menu – but you’ll have to order, eat and drink while seated.

Indoor attractions
Indoor entertainment venues are back open for business, as well as hotels and B&Bs for overnight stays. Our museums and galleries are opening their doors and cinemas and children’s play areas have also reopened, so there’s always something to do, whatever the weather!

Meet outdoors where you can
Remember that although indoor venues are opening up, you should still consider meeting outdoors where you can. Wirral is full of fantastic open spaces, with acres of parkland and miles of coastline to explore.

Stay safe
As Wirral starts to open up, please remember to:
Be patient - Businesses are doing all they can to become COVID-19 secure, please do your bit and be patient as staff will be getting used to new ways of working.
Be kind - Not everybody will be ready to move out of restrictions at the same pace.
Be safe – Let’s keep washing our hands, covering our faces and keeping our distance to stop the spread of the virus.
