Hoylake is located at the northern tip of the Wirral Peninsula, and is home to the Royal Liverpool Golf Club, one of the finest links courses in the world, and home to the Open Championship in 2006 and 2014.

New Brighton has a wide range of attractions and facilities, including The Light Cinema, restaurants and cafes, the Riverside Bowling Alley, the Laser Quest centre, and the New Palace Amusement Arcade - which includes a small fairground.

Along the coast, there is Fort Perch Rock, which is a coast battery defence and it open throughout the year. There is also a lighthouse and Vale Park further along the promenade. Parkgate is a small village, situated just over the border of Wirral on the banks of the River Dee. You can take in the clean air, the stunning views across the River Dee and sample the catch of the day, superbly prepared in one of the local eateries. A visit to the famous ice cream shop on the parade is also a 'must' with its delicious and sometimes unusual range of flavours.

Parkgate is renowned for its high tide birdwatches when up to 400 birders may be present.
