Half term is just around the corner and this year Mersey Ferries are offering a fabulous 3 for 1 budget stretching treat – entrance to Spaceport and U-Boat Story PLUS a Mersey Ferries River Explorer Cruise for the whole family - all for only £20!*
The daily River Explorer Cruises offer stunning views, fascinating history and unlimited sea air. The 50-minute journey onboard an iconic Mersey Ferry includes informative commentary explaining the River Mersey’s rich past and present.
Visit Spaceport, taking you on an inspirational journey through space with fascinating factual information about the Moon, our Solar System and the history of space exploration –the not forgetting the popular Wallace & Gromit in Space exhibition too.
Set sail to Woodside where you can visit U-boat Story, telling the story of World War II German submarine U-534. You will see into the cross-sectioned submarine and discover it’s amazing story through a highly interactive and exciting exhibition, including a genuine ‘Enigma’ machine. There’s also a life-size replica of the U-534 Conning Tower, allowing visitors the chance to experience standing on the bridge of the historic vessel and using a periscope to view across the River Mersey.
