This August Bank Holiday, Wirral is home to two fantastic events - Wirral Food and Drink Festival and the Hoylake RNLI Open Day. 

Wirral Food and Drink Festival  

The Wirral Food and Drink Festival 2009 will showcase the best of all things 'Home Grown', bringing together the region's finest producers, restaurants, chefs and farm shops. Taking place over August Bank Holiday weekend at Claremont Farm (Sunday 30th and Monday31st August) this year's event is not to be missed, with celebrity chef demonstrations, live entertainment and much more....

Hoylake RNLI Open Day

Once again, there will be lots to see and do as Hoylake Lifeboat holds it's annual Open Day on Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August, 2009 at The Lifeboat Station, The Promenade, Hoylake.

Attractions include the fabulous Red Arrows at 5.00pm, funfair, charity stalls, street theatre, raffles, and tours of the Lifeboat.
