The Wirral Egg run which takes place on 1st April is a charity event raising money for sick children which attracts bikers from all over the country and even from continental Europe.
The run starts from New Brighton at 11.00am watch this unique cavelecade of motorcycles as they parade around Wirral. Roads along the route will be closed to traffic. The run will follow a route through Wallasey Village Road (B5477), Leasowe Road (A551) to Morton Cross, Hoylake Road (A553), through Meols to Hoylake,(A540) through West Kirby, Caldy, Thurstaston, Heswall turning left into Park Gate lane towards Thornton Hough and then on to Clatterbridge Hospital.

Exit the M53 at jct 1 and follow the signs for New Brighton.
Exiting the Wallasey Tunnel, follow the signs for Liscard and New Brighton (A554).
Exiting the Birkenhead Tunnel follow the signs for Wallasey, Liscard and the New Brighton (A554).
