The two day Birkenhead Festival of Transport will take place in Birkenhead Park on September 22nd & 23rd 2012. The theme is transport through the ages particularly the Victorian and Edwardian era, featuring Steam traction engines, steam boats, steam powered fairground, brass bands, trade stands, vintage buses etc.

Exit M53 at Junction 1, take the A553 passing B&Q, left at next roundabout and continue towards town centre passing St Jamesa Church into Laird Street. After half a mile turn right into Ashville Road and first left into Park Drive.
