Watersports in Wirral

If you’re as home on water as you are on land, then there is some great watersports in Wirral to enjoy.

Whether you’re new to it or a seasoned expert, there are few better places to cut your teeth in to windsurfing or sailing than on either of our beautiful Marine Lakes. West Kirby Marine Lake has stunning views over the Dee estuary to North Wales, providing a perfect backdrop.

New Brighton Marine Lake sits in the shadow of Fort Perch Rock and is centrally located alongside some of the town’s key attractions, bars and restaurants.

Thanks to being located on a peninsula, Wirral is surrounded by water on three sides, giving plenty of opportunities if you prefer to go on the open water, be it on a jet ski or a pleasure craft.

Check out the many watersports activities available in Wirral from the list below.
