Still looking for a great day out in Wirral - try Ness Botanic Gardens, the loveliest of learning gardens, rich in plant history.

Set on the banks of the River Dee the gardens have breathtaking views across to North Wales and are home to outstanding plant collections providing interest throughout the year. From landscaped terraces, Rock Gardens, tranquil water gardens, spectacular Laburnum Arch, colourful Herbaceous Border, Potager, and National Sorbus collection to the new wildflower meadow there is always something to see at Ness Botanic Gardens.
