Cancer Research UK will hold the 2010 Women’s Race for Life event in Wirral at Birkenhead Park. 4th July, 2010 They would like to invite you to take part and help raise money for a worthy cause - and have a great day out with family and friends too!
The event starts at 11:00am, but please make sure you arrive an hour before so that you can take part in the warm-up. There will be both 5k & 10K runs in the lovely and historic park. It’s a fantastic location, and this year the organisers want to see 5000 women run, jog or walk the course to help more people survive cancer.

The course is suitable for wheelchair users.
Parking availability:
Parking will be very limited at this event. To prevent congestion it is strongly recommended you use public transport or car share to get to the venue.

Road Directions
Leave the M53 at Jct. 4 and take 4th exit off roundabout onto B5151 to Birkenhead. After 8 miles turn right, at 4th lights onto Upton Road continue into Park Road North and Birkenhead Park is approximately 0.5 miles on right.
