HERITAGE OPEN DAY: Tranmere Rovers Football Club

Prenton Park, home of Tranmere Rovers FC since 1912, housed the first indoor Crown Green bowling green in the country, redeveloped in 2006 into Learning Centre including Study Support Centre for local school children. The Main Stand, opened in 1968, was one of the first cantilever designed stands in the country.
