Brimstage Hall Maize Maze

The Brimstage Maize Maze is open daily in the summer from 17th July 2010 and then at weekends to the end of September. There is also a smaller maze for youngsters, giant sand pit, indoor activity barn, farm animals and tractor rides.

The maze is designed in a field of growing maize and once the shoots begin to grow pathways are cut out in time for the plants to grow to their full 6 - 7 feet.

When visiting the maze, each group is provided with a puzzle sheet before they enter, which can be solved by finding clues on the way round - this all adds to the fun.

There are actually two mazes, a large one which takes about 1 - 1.5 hours to complete and a smaller one for little legs which will be completed in about 20 minutes. Visitors are welcome to do one or both. There is also a large indoor and outdoor picnic and games area with various puzzles and play equipment to keep everyone entertained either before or after the a"maze"ing adventure.

The maze is a great day out over the summer for all ages, with specialist access routes within the maze for buggies and wheelchairs, though this is sometimes subject to ground conditions - please phone in advance if unsure.
