Getting around Wirral is easy either by car and bicycle or using public transport.
Crossing the Mersey
Two Mersey road tunnels link Wirral to Liverpool and the rest of Merseyside. There is a toll of £1.40 each way each way payble at toll booths.
The world famous and Europe’s oldest ferry continues to traverse and play the hit tune “Ferry ‘cross the Mersey” with services from Woodside and Seacombe.
Public transport
MerseyTravel operate an integrated train and bus network across Wirral and also connects to Liverpool and Chester.
