Mersey Ferries is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in the North West of England, with over 600,000 people taking the ferry across the Mersey last year.
Today, the fascinating history of the oldest ferry service in Europe is brought to life aboard a Mersey Ferries River Explorer Cruise. Each 50 minute cruise comes complete with spectacular waterfront views and a lively and informative commentary which re-tells the history of Liverpool and its ferries.
For 2009 there is an exciting range of Special Events and Themed Cruises, including the Manchester Ship Canal Cruise.
