Wirral Golf Classic
Amateur Competition
2010 will see the inaugural Wirral Golf Classic, a 72 hole Stableford competition for amateurs which is being held from 13 - 17 September on four beautiful golf courses in Wirral - Caldy, Heswall, Wallasey and the magnificent Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
The main competition is an aggregate Stableford with prizes for the top 20 players, but there will also be daily competitions at each course for with the top four individual stableford points on handicap, receiving prizes as well as one scratch prize. There will also be prizes for best players from outside of Merseyside as well as an international prize. With prizes worth over £3000 there will be plenty to play for!
Players must be 18 years and older, with a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 36 for ladies, while the maximum number of strokes given is 18 for men and 27 for ladies, per round.
