Golf

Wirral is home to a wide variety of private and municipal golf courses, including the world famous Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake which hosted The Open Championship in July 2006.

Part of England's Golf Coast, which is home to some of the finest golf courses in the country, Wirral's superb courses are a test of nerve and ability. The range of parkland and links courses present some tough challenges and offer a stunning and diverse range of scenery in naturally beautiful surroundings.

Known for its love of sport and with ten privately owned and four municipal courses, Wirral certainly has plenty to choose from.
