Ness Botanic Gardens

Spend a relaxing day at Ness Botanic Gardens, exploring the 60 acres of landscaped gardens and discover the outstanding collections of seasonal flowers, trees and shrubs.

These outstanding Botanic gardens overlook the Dee Estuary, and contain the finest collection of rhododendron and azaleas in the Northwest. Breathtaking heather, rock, herb gardens, and an outstanding collection of Himalayan and Chinese plants are just some of the many views to enjoy at Ness.

There is a new visitor centre, which is a state of the art building designed to be sustainable and sympathetic to the environment. The spacious, bright interior houses the Four Seasons Cafe, a gift shop, a plant sales area and exhibition space.

Ness Botanic Gardens has been one of Cheshire's Gardens of Distinction in Cheshire's Year of Gardens 08 and voted Winner of Large Attraction of the Year at the Mersey Tourism Awards in May 2008.
