Race for Life 2009- Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK will host a 2009 Women’s Race for Life event in Wirral at Birkenhead Park. 5th July, 2009 They would like to invite you to take part and help raise money for a worthy cause - and have a great day out with family and friends too!

The event starts at 11:00am, but please make sure you arrive an hour before so that you can take part in the warm-up. The 5km course will take you round Birkenhead Park and the surrounding areas. It’s a fantastic location, and this year the organisers want to see 5000 women run, jog or walk the course to help more people survive cancer.

Wheelchair users:
The course is suitable for wheelchair users.

Parking availability:
Parking will be very limited at this event. To prevent congestion it is strongly recommended you use public transport or car share to get to the venue.
