Attractions & Activities
"A cultural lover, an adventurer..."
This section provides everything you need to make sure you have a great day out in Wirral. Whatever your taste, whatever your interest, there is something for everyone and plenty to see and do.

If being outdoors is your thing, Wirral's many attractions include Country Parks, Botanical Gardens, Wirral's only urban farm - Tam O'Shanters and, not forgetting, the nature lovers paradise of Hilbre Islands.
Lovers of all things cultural can experience fine and decorative arts at the famous Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight. Combine this with a tour of the picturesque village and step back in time with a visit to Sunlight Vision Museum and you have all the ingredients for a perfect day out!
For history and heritage, where better to start than Birkenhead's own Heritage Trail, which includes the Birkenhead Priory where Benedictine monks launched the very first "ferry across the Mersey". Continue this tradition and climb aboard Europe's oldest ferry service from either Woodside or Seacombe and hear about the region's fascinating history whilst taking in the spectacular waterfront views. Every Mersey Ferry cruise is a great adventure in itself.
And don't forget Spaceport, the amazing space-themed attraction at Seacombe Ferry Terminal.
