The Ship has been a fond favourite down in Parkgate for years and with its recent refurbishment in the lounge bar it is now even more of a talking point. The Ship serves a gastro menu of delicious homemade dishes (even down to their chips!) seven days a week as well as offering its famous roasts on Sundays. Along with a hearty homemade menu, The Ship is also proud of its award-winning cask ales including a number of beers sourced from local breweries. If a sauvignon or a pinot is more your tipple then their carefully chosen wine list is sure to compliment any of the dishes or simply just to be enjoyed on its own. With its open fire in the winter and its heated outside patio in the summer it really is the pub for every season not to mention the views of North Wales that it boasts…simply stunning!

Road Directions
From the Chester Road (A540), follow signs for Parkgate. Approaching from Heswall: From the roundabout, follow Chester Road (A540) for approximately 1 mile. Take the right turning onto Boathouse Lane (B5135). Follow this road for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the Parade at Parkgate. Continue along the Parade for approximately 0.5 miles and The Ship Hotel is on your left. Approaching from Chester: Continue along Chester Road (A540) for approximately 5 miles until you reach "The Hinderton Arms", traffic signals, turn left onto Hinderton Road (B5134). Continue on this road for approximately 1 mile then turn left onto The Cross (B5135). Continue for approximately one more mile and then you will arrive on The Parade, Parkgate. The Ship Hotel is 200 metres on the right hand side.
Public Transport Directions
The nearest Bus Station is in Neston however you can then get a local bus that will run along The Parade at Parkgate. The nearest train station is also in Neston which means that you would either need to take a taxi or catch a bus from the station to the hotel. Neston is approximately 2.5 miles from The Ship Hotel.
