Bromborough

Bromborough is a real hot bed for entertainment and shopping in Wirral, but the town also offers so much more besides.

Perhaps the modern focal point of Bromborough is the large retail park which offers some fantastic out-of-town shopping opportunities.  Hosting many of the UK’s biggest high-street names, The Croft Retail & Leisure Park, also has restaurants, a gymnasium, fast food outlets and a modern Odeon Cinema showing the latest film releases.

Nearby are more retail and entertainment businesses, with home furnishings and decorating outlets as well as the likes of ten pin bowling.  Bromborough has a fantastic mix of entertainment options for visitors and residents.

Not to be missed is the local shopping offering in by Bromborough Cross, the centre of the old town.  Experience award-winning local meats from local butchers, grab a bite to eat in a café or check out some of the other smaller shops and businesses in the area.

The town is also blessed with green spaces, with both large public playing fields and the beautiful Dibbinsdale Local Nature Reserve. The reserve is home to many wonderful native species of animals, including Tawny Owls and Buzzards.  There is also an extensive habitat of wild flowers and other plant life, adding to the scenic tranquillity of the reserve.

Located in the south of the peninsula, it’s one of Wirral’s largest towns and benefits from excellent transport links, both road and rail. The M53 provides easy access to the town, while rail links give an easy journey to the cities of Chester and Liverpool, as well as connecting you with the rest of Wirral.

There is some great accommodation in Bromborough as well, including the Village Hotel Club Wirral, which also features restaurants, bars and leisure facilities. Also keep an eye out for seasonal events at the Village, including Christmas party nights which are always popular.
