View the amazing life on board a real German U-boat at this award-winning attraction. With original film archive and interactive displays you will witness all the dramatic action! U-boat Story is a £5m attraction telling the story of World War II German submarine U-534.
The U-boat Story has been named winner of Merseyside's Small Visitor Attraction 2011, and has been highly commended as a tourism and leisure attraction in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors North West Awards 2010.
You will see into the cross-sectioned submarine and discover its amazing story through a highly interactive and exciting exhibition.
At U-boat Story, you will be able to look ino the U-Boat, now in four sections with glass viewing partitions, view its amazing interior and discover its surprisingly well preserved artefacts including a rare Enigma machine.
Through the exhibition's interactive and audiovisual exhibits you will gain a unigue insight into life on board a submarine during wartime, and the enduring mystery of U-534.
Make a day of it and take a Mersey Ferry to visit U-boat Story. You can enjoy the 50 minute River Explorer cruise with commentary.
