New Brighton is a seaside resort located in the north east corner of Wirral. Home to a wide range of attractions and facilities.
New Brighton has been undergoing a £60 million redevelopment scheme - including Floral Pavilion Theatre and Conference Centre ,The Grosvenor G casino, The Light Cinema, Caffe Cream, Bubbles World of Play, Championship Miniature Golf, restaurants, pubs, bars, a supermarket, other shops and the Travelodge.
Also found in New Brighton are the especially popular Riverside Bowling Alley, crazy golf in Victoria Gardens, the Laser Quest centre, and the New Palace Amusement Arcade - which includes a small fairground.
Those who recall the old New Brighton will still find familiar sights. Fort Perch Rock was built as a coastal defence battery to protect the Port of Liverpool during the Napoleonic period. It is open throughout the year and features an Aviation and Archaeology Museum and a permanent exhibition about the German bomber raids over Merseyside during World War II. Alongside there is also New Brighton Lighthouse, situated in the North Wirral Coastal Park (pictured above) and Vale Park further along the promenade, where during the summer you can enjoy some fabulous music from the Summer Band Festival (Call 0151 639 5798 for further details).
