New Brighton Tourist Information & Visitor Guide
New Brighton is a seaside resort located in the north east corner of Wirral which is home to a wide range of attractions and facilities.
It is the quintessential seaside town and makes a great day out for families and for people looking to experience traditional fun.
New Brighton has been transformed by a £60 million redevelopment scheme - including Floral Pavilion Theatre and Conference Centre, The Light Cinema, Caffe Cream, Bubbles World of Play, Championship Miniature Golf and a complimentary range of restaurants, pubs, bars, a supermarket, other shops and a Travelodge.
Also found in New Brighton are the especially popular Riverside Bowling Alley, Crazy Golf in Victoria Gardens, the Laser Quest centre, and the New Palace Amusement Arcade - which includes a small fairground.
Those who recall the old New Brighton will still find familiar sights. Fort Perch Rock was built as a coastal defence battery to protect the Port of Liverpool during the Napoleonic period. It is open throughout the year and features an Aviation and Archaeology Museum and a permanent exhibition about the German bomber raids over Merseyside during World War II.
Alongside there is also New Brighton Lighthouse, situated in the North Wirral Coastal Park and Vale Park further along the promenade, where during the summer you can enjoy some fabulous music from the Summer Band Festival (Please note Vale Park does not host wedding ceremonies or celebrations).
Enjoy the attractions, the shore, the river breezes, and the view across the Mersey to one of the most famous skylines in the world.
