Artroom is a new gallery situated on the parade at Parkgate, overlooking the Marshes of the Dee Estuary.
The gallery displays only original art, in all its forms, with particular support given to local and Wirral based artists.
With its three distinctive exhibition spaces and combination of floorspace, hearth, alcove, plain and bricked walls of different sizes, the viewer can gain an impression of how any of the pieces might appear in a range of settings:
The living space creates the feel of a home, whereas the commercial space builds the concept of a business environment, while the additional ‘natural light’ area creates the airy feel similar to a summer room or conservatory.
The gallery is open Thursday to Sunday 12 – 5pm and also by appointment.

The coastal village of Parkgate is located approximately 20 minutes away from both Chester and Liverpool on the west side of the Wirral Peninsula. It is easily accessible from the M6 via the M56 and M53 (which runs through the centre of the Wirral).
